OPPOSITION to the payment of tolls, expressed by many areas of the Road Haulage Association, was considered at Wednesday's meeting in London of tip Association's executive committee., 64. resolution from the Metropolitan Area stated that the Ministry of Transport should be asked to waive all toll charges, including those at present levied.
The questions of rates and denational ization were also discussed by the corn mittee and consideration was given It several of the resolutions presented at th ,Blackpool conference in Octobei Included among these were schools fo drivers, vehicle security, and the buildin of inner ring roads before a start wa made on outer ring roads.
The committee also considered th question of waiting time.
