Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

GOWRINGS Engineering Ltd of Winchester has designed a body that can be used to lift, carry and off-load heavy plant.

The Loadlift can be fitted to any 16-tonne gvw chassis, say Gowrings, and has a load platform 4870mm (191.7in) long and a tail lift 2500mm (98 4in) long. Total payload capacity is approximately 9.2 tonnes (9.1 tons).

The forward platform has fixed sides and a headboard, while the rear platform is remotely controlled and can be raised and lowered hydraulically. Maximum capacity of the lifting platform is 6 tonnes (5.9 tons).

Gowrings' prototype body is shown in the photos fitted to a six-wheeled Ford chassis. Twoaxled vehicles are suitable for Loadlift, say Gowrings.

Retail price is in the region of £20,000, depending upon the type of chassis used.
