L'OLLOWING its policy of expansion, Hoveringham Gravels Ltd. has bought the entire share capital of Newark Gravel and Concrete Co. Ltd., a private company owning and operating a gravel business near Newark, Notts, and the assets of two companies. Gunthorpe Gravels (1958) Ltd., and E. A. Pitcher ISand and .Gravel Pits) Ltd., operating gravel quarries in Notts and Yorkshire respectively.

In addition, the entire gravel interests of the Lincoln and Hull Water Transport Co. Ltd. have been acquired, the assets comprising extensive gravel reserves and a processing plant.
