BUS CREWS at a Dunfermline depot have voted not to implement service cuts due to start this month.
Mr James Irvine, branch secretary of the TGWU at the W. Alexander & Sons (Fife) Ltd, depot in St Leonards Street, said : "This was a branch decision and we have asked other depots for support."

Coach sympathy
A COACH driver training centre has been established by National Travel (NE) at its Liversedge depot. Five different courses at first will be run under the auspices of the RTITB on good coach driving, vehicle sympathy and passenger relations. company said : "The proposals were explained to the personnel at the depot, then put before the appropriate regional authority and district councils. They were then approved some weeks ago by the Traffic Commissioners."
The proposed cuts in the frequency of services on selected uneconomic routes will apply mainly at weekends.
