supermarkets passed on the food price squeeze to its Low-field food distribution business.
Pre-tax profits barely moved, from £ 7m to 1:7.1m: ana lysts say the figures were depressed by last year's loss of Whitbread and Asda contracts, together worth about £3m. If the loss of these contracts is ignored, increased volumes from T&B's clothes, DIY and particularly its consumer products contracts, doubled turnover growth.
