SYPTE already has 50 Metrobuses on order for delivery next year but as yet has received only the Metrobus demonstration bus in use on the bus comparison route.
It is surprising and illogical that the PTE has decided to invest several million pounds of public money in new buses without waiting for at least the completion of its much publicised major vehicle evaluation exercise.
