Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HATCHER Components Ltd, manufacturer of commercial vehicle accessories, will be introducing the Hatcher Slipstreamer at the NEC this year.

The Slipstreamer, moulded in glass fibre reinforced polyester, has been designed to fit most vehicle cabs and the manufacturer claims a considerable fuel saving when fitted to any vehicle.

A recent test survey undertaken by the Motor Industry Research Association demonstrated that fuel savings of up to 10.9 per cent could be made by fitting the Slipstreamer when compared with a basic unmodified vehicle.

Designed for simple selffitting, the unit is easily secured on most trucks by gutter fitting, although it can be secured by bolting through the roof. Once attached, the height and rake of the Slipstreamer can be adjusted to suit the vehicle and the load to the best aerodynamic position.

Three sizes of Slipstreamer are available and supplied in white or matt grey. They can incorporate an illuminated facia.

During the MIRA tests, one unexpected result was that additional fuel savings col be made when fitting Hatcher Long Range fuel tai This gave a total saving of to 13.6 per cent when both deflector and auxiliary fi tank were fitted to a basic laden tractive unit and clw trailer combination.
