FOUR purpose-built accident unit vehicles have been handed over to South Yorkshire Police to deal with highspeed collisions on motorways or major trunk roads.
Based on Leyland Sherpa crew buses, they have highdome roofs, and are equipped to improve safety at accident locations and free trapped motorists.
