Mr, PEARSON, 46, managing director of Haliaday's Drop Forgings Ltd., Tame Road, Witton, Birmingham, died suddenly at his home in Chester Road North, Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, last week. A member of the Institute of Works Managers, Mr. Pearson joined Halladay's in May, 1936, after attending Handsworth Technical School, Birmingham. He was appointed to the board on April 1, 1963, becoming deputy managing director in April, 1965, and managing director on April 1 last year on the retirement of Mr. T. G. Barford.

Mr. SANDERSON, of Crowtree Crescent, Rastrick, Yorkshire, had been in business as a haulage contractor since 1932.
