1. Short shift, keep ng revs within torque curve. 2. Avoid high road speeds. 3. Use momentum management to maintain speed. 4. Plan ahead, avoiding excessive use of brakes. 5. Don't hang around waiting for engine to warm up. 6. Use over-run in high gears rather than coasting. 7. Don't run engine when stationary. 8. Remove unnecessary roof racks etc. 9. Don't carry unnecessary payload. 10. Maintain correct tyre pressures.
