• The two bosses of an Essex motor parts company have been jailed for three years for stealing and dismantling lorries.
Paul Kiley and Daniel Parman, both directors of Woodford Green-based Parts Master, were found guilty of "ringing" high-value parts from commercial vehicles after appearing at Maidstone Crown Court. cutting it up would take as little as 36 hours, he said.
Parman, of Bancroft Avenue, Buckhurst Hill, and Kiley of Hollywood Road, Woodford Green, had denied conspiracy to handle stolen goods between January 1996 and January 1997, But as he jailed them, Judge Michael Neligan said: "You were both involved in a conspiracy involving many thousands of pounds' worth of vehicle parts.
"You, Parman, were the prime mover, and Kiley became an active lieutenant. I can draw no distinction between you."
