Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Foden 4300 tippers were stolen from a Tarmac quarry at Nuneaton between 19:00hrs and 01:00hrs on 14 October.

The brothers, both owner-drivers, estimate they are losing up to a £1,000 a week following the thefts. Jaspal Saundh, who runs his business with his wife Mona, has even been forced to put his house up for sole to meet financial commitments.

Mona believes that the thieves had been watching the quarry for some time: "They knew that the trucks had recently been taxed and had new MoTs and the tyres had been changed. They waited until all that had been done until they made their move," she says. Other vehicles parked in the quarry at the same time were untouched.

She is particularly angry because there were just two months to go on the truck repayments, and "the insurance company won't do anything for four to six weeks", she says.

Jaspal's tipper, registration number F396 YHA, chassis number 401226, engine number 5KD00955, had a broken sun visor on the nearside and its front offside wing was broken.

His brother Jagjat's vehicle, registration number E416 SFK, chassis number 400903, engine number SKD 00827, had a cracked windscreen and a scratch on the right-hand corner panel.

Both tippers were red with white stripes and were fitted with Mack worth alloy bodies and Edbro tipping gear.
