ajor Concours awards at the went to Kassbohrer of West ^nany for its Setra S215HD 1-floor coach. The S215HD :h entered by Kassbohrer I214HD Setra, and Rieseburo Gross International of Heilbronn, West Germany, featured a revised front bumper and radiator grill arrangement.

Scania won awards with an Ajokki-bodied Scania K112. The British trips to Nice did not go unrewarded and Leyland Bus picked up a number of awards. Probably more important than the awards was the obvious French interest in the Doyen.

The Doyen won a bronze medal and a piaquette for its technical innovations. The Plaxton bodied Royal Tiger won a Prix d'honneur. The air-conditioned Premier Tiger's Plaxton body impressed the French judges who awarded it an honneur in the grand touring coach class. The Utic Leyland also won a bronze medal in this class.

The two British registered Jonckheere bodied coaches of Youngs and Kinch both won concours awards.

In the driving test section of the rally, which was carried out at night, Manfred Schrader of Reisen Wullhorst took the Grande Coupe du Comite d'organisation. Leading British driver was Peter Bibby who drove the Plaxton-bodied Royal Tiger Doyen into sixth place overall.
