Malcolm Harbour Is a Conservative MEP for the West Midlands.
His background is in median cal engineering: he started work at Austn 40 years ago when Austin manufactured heavy vehcles, so his apprenticeship included trucks.
He was elected to the European parliament in 1999 and re-elected in 2004. He is the leader and spokesman for internal markang and consumer protection for all the European centre-right parties and works on a lot of issues concerning the automotive industry.
