• By using an aluminium base frame and tank Tamplin has cut the weight of its donkey engine power package by 40kg.
The hydraulic power pack features the recently-introduced Lister LV1 range of diesel engines with electric start.
The 6.7kW unit has an output of 25 litres per minute operating at 135 Bar.
Although previous Tamplin packs have been mounted on the off side of the vehicle close to the point at which the driver dismounts, in the interests of safety all Tamplin power packs can now be mounted and operated on either side of the vehicle.
