MR. J. S. IsTscuoLL, C.B.E., chief executive officer of McNamara and Co., Ltd., has been elected president of the Institute of Transport for the year 1942-43. He has occupied this office during the current year, and had previously served as a Member of Council from 1934-7 and as vice-president from 1937 40.
