A software company is working

out revaluation figures for those who control the purse strings.

Winology Software's Revalu package is designed to provide accurate revaluation prices for vans and trucks using information supplied by CAP Motor Research and Glass's Information Services The company says: "Finance managers can automatically value a whole fleet, using both CAP and Glass's at the same time, using today's or future values."

It provides a retail, best, good and poor trade prices. "Revalu can be used for fleets from 50 to more than 10,000," says director Darren Surman."By using both CAP and Glass data it provides an accurate revaluation of commercial vehicles."

Compatible

The package, available with separate systems for lights and heavies, can integrate with existing software systems. One of the key features is said to be data "interoperability" which reduces the time taken for inputting additional information into the current system as existing data can be transferred into and out of the Revalu programme.

The company says: "Vehicles may be directly imported from the following Microsoft databases:Windows 95 upwards, Access, SQL Server, Excel,Text and ODBC."

Operators can access three types of reports —contract termination, movement summary or a total summary — or the reporting set-up can be customised to a firm's individual needs. •
