But if they had been channel hopping on 18 January they would have come across Truckfest as part of the introduction to BBC1's Songs of Praise. This is no road to Damascus conversion, Colin Ward, the director of Live Promotions, explains That edition of Songs of Praise was based in Peterborough where Truckfest is held each May at the East of England Showground: "We offered the programme producer an opportunity to feature television footage as part of the introduction."
