• A one-man operator who arrived for a Section 69 inquiry but did not wait for his case to be called had his licence revoked by the deputy LA, Mr Gerald Kidner, at Norwich last week. He was Mr G. C. Fairhead of Bungay, Suffolk.

A vehicle examiner, Mr James Jones, said that he visited the operator's premises in September where he examined the vehicle in a field. He placed an immediate GV9 on it for eight defects. Three days later at Norwich vehicle testing centre furthet defects were found.
