Harold W. Elliott has been appointed director and chairman of THC's two subsidiary companies, Harold Wood & Sons Ltd., and Spell Coachbuilders Ltd.
Dave Mansell, Cummins Engine Co. Ltd. general manager of sales and service for the UK and Northern Europe, has been appointed to the board as director (marketing).
The Board of Texaco Ltd. (which markets petrol, lubricating and fuel oils under the Regent trademark) has been reconstituted, with Sir Edward Beetham as chairman, and EL D. Acres as vicechairman. C. D. Hall becomes a managing director, and takes charge of marketing, while R. D. Nelson, also a managing director, will be responsible for the other activities of the company.
S J, Burn has been appointed chief transport engineer with the Lancashire County Council. Formerly, he was county transport officer, Warwickshire CC.
J. S. O'Brien has been appointed company secretary, A. Packham & Co. Ltd., following the retirement of Mr. F. George, who has served 22 years with the company.
