Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TO ease road-traffic pressure in and around Doncaster during the St. .Leger race meeting from September 1013, the scheme introduced last year to spread public service vehicle traffic over specially allocated routes will be again applied, with certain modifications.

Under the arrangements for excursions and tours traffic, those approaching on the Great North Road from north of Ferrybridge will be diverted there and make an eastward detour via Snaith and Thorne; those approaching on the Selby road will make a similar detour.

South of Ferrybridge, coaches will approach by the Great North Road; those from the east will use the Thorne Road; those from the south the Great North Road, and those from the west the Tickhill and Sheffield roads.

Vehicles using the Great North Road on express services and not requiring to take up or set down passengers between Bawtry and Ferrybridge will be diverted at those places and proceed via Snaith. Drivers of road haulage vehicles will be advised to make a similar diversion if possible.

Diversions of stage-carriage services from their usual routes in Doncaster will operate between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. on each day of the race meeting.
