• Dutch-based vehicle converter Terberg Specials has begun production of a new electrohydraulic tail-lift for vans. The Vanlift system stows beneath a false floor, leaving the loadspace free from intrusion and keeping the weight of the unit above the rear axle to avoid overloading.
The Vanlift has a capacity of 350kg and is con
trolled using a wanderlead, stored in a holder inside the loadspace. The platform itself has to be stowed manually, but it only weighs 301(g.
The load floor is raised by about 150mm, and the complete unit weighs around 200kg. The Vanlift is supplied with a fitting kit for most current European and Japanese vans.
