• The Co-op's offer of a 1.75% pay increase for more than 500 in-house drivers covered by the General Distributive Workers Agreement was overwhelmingly rejected last week.

The Union of Shop Distributive and Allied Workers says it will meet the Co-op's Employer's Association next month to discuss the deal, which 20,037 GDWA staff rejected and only 7,974 accepted.
