NORFOLK FIRM Middleton Aggregates is celebrating one of its drivers winning the Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving (SAFED) driver-of-the-month award.
Chris Claxton will now be considered for the national driver of the year award following his success in reducing fuel consumption on a test circuit by 7.95%.General Manager Brian Nelson explains: -All our drivers are now SAFED trained. It's made them a little bit more conscious of how they drive their ve,h ides.
"From an industry point of view we are cast as the black sheep. I think this image is totally wrong."
