ROBERT KELLY, Thomas Meadow's managing director, has a new job from October 1 when he becomes chief executive of Bowater Freight Services' newly formed UK group.

Kelly, who has spent four months heading Meadows, becomes responsible for Roba UK, the Harlow, Essex-based international haulier and freight forwarder and for William Nuttall, the Manchesterbased haulage and distribution company.

He is also made managing director of Baxter Hoare, Bowater's freight forwarding company, replacing Peter Norman who is now Bowater Freight Services' commercial director.
