Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A Bungalow on Wheels Used for Demonstration Work.

MIAMI' in June last the National I` Radiator Co. Ltd., of Hull, sent out on a tour of the country the novel travelling showroom shown in an accompanying illustration, in order to bring directly to tlile notice of housewives and others the value of their Ideal boilers and radiatprs. The chassis of this propaganda vehicle is a 2-3-ton, Pierce

Arrow, which had previously been used by the company as a lorry for several years, whilst the body, which, in its exterior appearance, takes the form of a bungalow on wheels, was specially constructed by Messrs. B. Barnaby and Sons, of 6, Neptune Street, Hull.

Internally the body comprises parts of four rooms, viz., sitting-room, hall, bathroom, and kitchen. In the kitchen an Ideal Cookanheat range is fixed and connected by piping to two radiators in the sitting-room and hall, as well as to a towel-rail radiator in the bathroom. It is also connected to a tank which supplies hot water to a lavatory

basin fixed in the bathroom. Specimens of the Ideal Classic boiler for small central-heating installations and of the Ideal domestic boiler for hot-water supply are also carried.

The overall length of the vehicle when travelling is 23 ft. 6 ins., its width being 7 ft. 5 ins., and its height 11 ft. 4 ins. When the vehicle is stationary and is being used for demonstration work a chimney-pot is attacked to the chimney, thus increasing the height to 12 ft, whilst detachable steps are fixed at the rear to give access to the interior.

Since the vehicle left Hull, demonstrations have been given at Gloucester, Coventry, Cambridge, Southend, Wanstead, Watford and Reading, after which it passed through Surrey and Kent, and then arong the south-east coast to the Tee of Wight, coming back to Southampton, Lyinington, Bournemouth, Weymouth, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Exeter, Taunton, Shepton Mallet and Yeovil. During September the following places were scheduled to be visited :—Bath, Bristol, Swindon, Newport, Cardiff and Swansea. So 'far it

has been arranged that visits shall be paid to Hereford, Leominster, Shrewsbury and Chester during October. It is not likely that the vehicle will remain on the rbad much after the middle of October on account of the dark evenings and the bad weather which is likely to be experienced.

In advance of the arrival of the vehicle in a town the National Radiator Co., Ltd., advertise in the local papers, and about a week previously send letters of invitation to firms in the heating and allied trades in the district, as well as to architects and any private people with whom they have been in correspondence. Invitation cards are supplied to trade firms for distribution to their clients, as well RR show-bills for exhibition in their windows, and these give details of the demonstrations.
