TACHODISC SAYS that with less than 12 months to go before the September 2014 Driver CPC deadline, its confidential helpline AskTachodisc has been inundated with questions from drivers and operators asking for clarification on accumulated training hours. Karen Crispe, Tachodisc MD, says: We have had a lot of drivers ask us if the CPC hours they have accumulated since the Driver CPC was first introduced are able to be carried over if they do not manage to complete the full 35 hours before the 2014 deadline. The answer is yes." However, she adds, they will not be able to drive professionally after the 2014 deadline for reward or hire, until such time as the full hours have been completed. • • • • • • • • • • • •
