• BOCM Pauls has bought 16 EM Wilcox 38-tonne tipper/ blower trailers for its animal feed delivery service.
Triaxle running gear includes Fruehauf TA3 air suspension with lift-up front axle but for extra manoeuvrability, 12 trailers have Tridec hydraulic rear steer axles.
The stepped trailers have three full-depth partitions with five locking points for split loads of between 2.0 and 8.0 tonnes. Whereas standard Wilcox trailers achieve 24 tonne payloads, those with Tridec gear manage 23.5 tonnes.
The company's fleet includes one WBS trailer with Hosta rear steering equipment.
