For commercial reasons a formal announcement of this name change will not take place until mid-January 1976 when the reasons for the change and the future plans of the company will be revealed.

Criticism of the cost of the vehicle repainting exercise and associated changes in documentation made by Mr Robert Adley MP—the Member for Christchurch and Lymingtonreported last week, speculated that the changes would cost BRS Parcels up to £3m, An answer was given by BRS Parcels Ltd this week, The actual cost, said a spokesman. would not exceed £260,000 in the first year and it was expected this sum would he fully recovered within the year.

It is understood that BRS Parcels do not contemplate a total repaint of their fleet to coincide with their new trading title. A full repaint in a new livery would cost around £lim.
