From Fisher Controls comes a new hand lamp which withstands hard knocks without breaking and has a rated tube life of 5,000hr.

The lamp is glare-free, shadowless and cool-runIning. and its slim shape enables it to be used in spots inaccessible to traditional hand lamps. The tube is protected by a thick acrylic case and the handle and end cap have moulded buffer flanges.

A hook is provided for hanging the lamp, together with two ' holes for horizontal mounting, and 12ft of mains lead is provided, the starting controls being contained in a moulded rubber capsule near the plug point. No earth connection is required.

The unit is available for 220 /240V or 110V, 50 or 60 Hz operation and worldwide patents are pending.
