• On page 30 of your issue 14-20 May 1992 there is a claim that a Lancashire haulier has taken delivery of the first modular Nicolas trailer in the UK. The first such trailer was purchased by Wynns Heavy Haulage many years ago and we still operate that trailer in our fleet today.
There are many other users of Nicolas trailers in the UK, most of which are in modular form and all of which can be used in both semi-trailer and drawbar form.

0 According to our source at Nicolas., Rawcliffe's new trailer was the first of its latest modular lightweights (MDLs) equipped with pendular all wheel steer axles into the UK.
He also said it had the greatest amount of height adjustment (720mm).
