Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

by John Darker • I have known for some time that Mr. Philip Peckham, former chairman of A. Peckham and Co. Ltd., contemplated a new career in consultancy and I can now reveal that Howard, Peckham and Associates, 292 High Holborn, London, WC2 is very much in business.

Ian Howard, a principal executive in the Packham distribution company—recently acquired by Miles Druce Ltd.—was an experienced management consultant before he joined A Packham and Co. Ltd. some years ago. Now, with former consultancy colleagues, and with the support of Philip Packham, a powerful team has been brought together.

Howard, Packham and Associates will offer their specialist services in two fields of particular interest to CM readers namely road transport organization and management and garage management. Ancillary services such as staff selection will also be provided.

I understand from Mr. Howard that the main thrust of the new firm will be in the West Country.

They believe that the West Country has been largely neglected by consultancy groups hitherto because of a feeling that so much of the area is in' the "green fields" category. In fact, Howard, Peckham and Associates believe that the area has great potential for development.
