Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The whole of BET's bulk order for 142 single-deck bus bodies for 1968-9 has been secured by the omnibus division of Marshall of Cambridge (Engineering) Ltd. The company has also secured at least one BET single-deck order outside the bulk list—and an entirely new model, employing all-welded construction, will be among the 1968 bodies.

The new model, to be known as the Camair, will be built on Leyland Panther chassis for Northern General.

The bulk BET order is as follows:—

Underfloor-engined 45-seat; 32ft Bin. long: Aldershot and District, 30 on AEC Reliance: Devon General, 16 on Reliance; Yorkshire Traction, 7 on Leyland Leopard: Thomas Bros. (Port Talbot), 2 on Leyland Tiger Cub. Underfloot-engined 53-seat, 361t long: Thomas Bros. (Port Talbot), 1 on Reliance; South Wales Transport Co., 12 on Reliance: Hobble Motor Services, 2 on Reliance; Western Welsh, 20 on Leopard; East Yorkshire. 7 on Leopard.

Rear-engined, 36ft long: Southdown, 20 on Bristol RELL (51-seat); Northern General group, 25 on Leyland Panther.

In addition to the bulk order, Marshall has been asked to supply 10 51-seat bodies on the AEC Swift for East Kent Road Car Co.
