August 26-28 will be drooling weekend for steam buffs in particular and vintage vehicle enthusiasts in general. The Leeds and District Traction Engine Club will be holding their annual rally at Bramham Park, south of Wetherby.
Attractions will include steam engines, fairground organs, vintage vehicles and tractors, and models, The charge for adults will be El each and two accompanied children will be admitted free. There will be no charge for car parking. Gates will open at 11 am and events will begin at 2pm daily.
Central Motor Auctions will hold an auction for collectors on August 26. Next day the Yorkshire Driving Club will present a display of horse-drawn vehicles. Altogether it promises to be a nostalgic weekend,
