NATIONAL Bus Company subsidiary City of Oxford Motor Services started its "farreaching and changed" bus services in Oxfordshire last week.
At the same time the company launched a number of special fare bargains to encourage passengers to get used to the new services. The incentive fares system is to run until September 9.
The service revisions follow a bitter battle between the company and Oxfordshire County Council with some local independent operators in the Traffic Commissions Court.
Oxford and South Midland traffic manager Peter Lutman, claimed that delay in introducing the new services had cost the company over £50,000.
