Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WORK on resurfacing a 6.25-mile stretch of the M1 in Leicestershire and Derbyshire began this week.

The Elm job on the stretch from Junction 24 at Lockington to near junction 25 at Sandiacre is expected to take three months.

Contra-flow lanes will be introduced on the affected stretch from August 12, and the Department of Transport has advised drivers to avoid the area if at all possible.

Drivers are advised to leave a safe gap between themselves and the vehicle in front.
