THE FREIGHT Transport Association is holding two seminars on conditions of carriage and transport for the non-transport manager.
The first will explain the Road Haulage Association's new Conditions of Carriage and other major carriers' similar moves. Specialist conditions such as express parcel carriers and the Post Office will also be covered..
Dates and venues are: Coventry (April 5); Stirling (May 10); and London (October 4).
Course fee is £65 plus vat per delegate for ETA members and an additional £10 for non-members. Further information can be obtained from the ETA on 0892 26171.
The second seminar is aimed at giving management an insight into the modern transport and distribution world.
The two-day seminar will trace the changing pattern of the industry.
The seminar will be in London on March 21-22 and Birmingham on April 5-6, with prices the same as above.
