Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• In its third new body launch of 1987, Pannell Engineering of Andover has produced an extra-heavy-duty allsteel body for muck-away and demolition operations.

The standard body has a 7.49m-long interior for an eight-wheeler chassis, offers a 15m3 capacity and comes with a 4mm-thick floor and 3.25mmthick side panels. The subframe has box-section crossmembers. Rope hooks, mud wings, ladder steps and a scow-end are all standard. Similar bodies are also available for both twoand threeaxle rigids chassis.

To help prevent the tailgate becoming blocked by bulky items like lumps of concrete or tree stumps, Pannell has raised the height of the tailgate hinge plates to provide a larger rear opening.

The heavy-duty body is available with either Edbro, Telehoist, Hyva or Hytec rams. Weight of a typical eight-wheeler body plus ram is 2,500kg, and the price of a body with an Edbro DE16 is around £4,750 plus VAT.
