COURIER and Data Transit, the Birmingham-based national courier firm, is to extend its contracted internal mail service for Imperial Chemical Industries.
The company first worked for ICI in 1981, collecting from 17 ICI offices and plants throughout the UK and delivering to 16. The courier firm has since made timed collections from each office or plant in the evening, followed by timed deliveries to the same locations on the following morning.
The additional contract connects a further three offices to the network, including ICI's head office at Millbank, London.
