ONE of the disadvantages hitherto attached to the use of flexible hose in fuel lines and elsewhere, has been that the fittings, being swaged on, made a complete replacement necessary in case of failure. Super Oil Seals and Gaskets, Ltd., Birmingham, announce that Aeroquip flexible hose lines are now available with detachable fittings.
In the case of a fault developing in the hose, it is now possible to make a quick replacement merely by removing the fittings and introducing a new length of hose.
