Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

JOHN RYAN, THE head of network development at MAN Truck & Bus UK, has died.

His career with MAN Truck & Bus UK stretches back 14 years, starting with ERF in 1997, when he was sector manager. He was responsible for the development of sales in the truck rental and distribution sectors and the following year he was appointed MD of ERF Northern, responsible for three wholly-owned ERF truck dealerships in the North-East.

When ERF merged with MAN in 2003, Ryan became sales director for the North-East, before moving to the position of head of network development.

A company statement says: “John was a trusted colleague and friend to all who knew and worked with him at MAN Truck & Bus UK, as well as among the MAN ERF dealer network and others in the wider transport industry. He made a major contribution to the development of the company over many years and will be sadly missed.

“Our thoughts are with his wife Lynn, daughter Sophie and son Andrew at this very sad time.”
