● Container specialist Maritime Transport will attend a public inquiry on 20 May and lodge a variation application. The TC will also look at an objection received against the application, consider an interim variation and look at attaching conditions to the firm’s licence.
Bristol
● Sturminster Newton-based BK Trucks will attend a PI on 31 May. The TC will look at disciplinary action against the business. Also up for consideration will be the repute of the transport manager.
Barnstaple
● On 12 May a PI will consider disciplinary action against Simpson Plant Hire (Cornwall) based in Padstow. The repute of the transport manager will also be considered.
Birmingham
● A PI on 5 May will look at disciplinary action against Willow Haulage, based in Stoke-On-Trent, as well as the repute of the transport manager.
