• Fullers Logistics Group is looking to buy temperaturecontrolled operators in the South West and North West to develop its UK domestic haulage business.
The Slough-based operation says it wants sites in these areas within two years, either through acquisition or organic growth.
It is particularly interested in operators with 10 to 20 trucks which concentrate on UK haulage.
Fullers has already developed a foothold in international haulage with its acquisition of temperature-controlled operator Clan International at Lydden in Dover this February. Some 90% of Clan International's business is international. It owns four trucks and 10 trailers but also uses subcontractors. Fullers Transport operates 45 tractors and more than 120 trailers from sites at Slough and Birmingham.
