Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

OWN-ACCOUNT operators have come off best in CM's Livery Competition. Unlike the first four classes, they have the chance to win two awards.

In addition to the CM silver salver, the FTA has generously contributed a trophy which will go to the best FTA entrant. Class E is open to all own account operators.

The judges will be looking for the livery which, in their opinion, makes the best use of The space available to project the company image, -advertisethe product and blend with the working environment. This could be the most exciting class yet.

It is open to all shapes and sizes of fleets, from the High Street dry cleaner to the national supermarket chains, It includes vans and tippers, platforms, tanks and boxes indeed there is no body which is excluded.

The object of the competition is to show industry and the public the better side of transport. At the same time we hope to encourage the less house-proud operators to tidy up their fleets. It is all in the interest of the industry.

Once again entry is simple.

• Send four half-plate colour prints showing the vehicle on uIl front, full rear and both sides.

• Send a £5 entry fee.

• Use the entry coupon provided.

The closing date for entries is May 26, which gives ample time for cleaning up vehicles and arranging photography.

More than one entry will be accepted but each entry must be made on a CM entry coupon.
