Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Keywords : Smokey

British Rail's almost indecent haste to get their hands 1 Freightliners, aided and abetted by Bill Rodgers, h prompted one of my readers to raise his poetic quill thus: We're told of torments of the wagon, The smokey derv. the noisy dragon.

The narrow road severely lessened.

And livelihoods severely threatened.

We've had our say, to no avail, The MPs want it all on rail, So if you want a load, you'll wait, While prices rise and escalate.

And as we wait for judgement days, When Parliament admits and says, This work is all too big a load, We'll get more lorries on the road. They then buy lorries in a son Just to compete with you and me, But remember when our money's lost, That no-one else will bear the cost.

So all our torments are in vain While endless taxes purchase trains, In lorries can we not invest, Let British Railways buy the rest — Of money they will have no lack, The taxpayer never answers back

... Not a bardic ode I fear, But the message comes through load and clear.
