Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HESTAIR Dennis is among 107 recipients of awards made under the Queen's Award to Industry scheme for export achievement following figures showing that 65 per cent of the company turnover comes from export business.

Managing director John Smith told CM. "This is fantastic — we are very pleased," and he was ready to show off the award with a borrowed award flag.

Mr Smith said that the company has achieved 27 per cent of the two-axle rigid market once the figures for Leyland and Ford had been excluded.

The company was selected for the award from a list of 1,860 applications and it is the first time that the Guildford-based company has figured in the scheme.

But this is the second award this year in recognition of Hestair Dennis achievements. It already has the Sunday Times Export Success Award for the best contribution from the workforce.

Freight forwarder Davies Turner was also included in the list for its work in exporting to the Middle East. The company quadrupled its export turnover in two years and Middle East work now forms 90 per cent of the company business.
