ANOTHER plea to hauliers to examine their costs and adjust their rates was made by Mr D. C. Pragnell, chairman of the Road Haulage Association Southampton sub-area, last week.
Speaking at the annual dinner in Southampton on Friday, he said that the only item which had not increased in recent months was the hauliers' profits. He appealed to his members to look closely at what they provided and to approach their customers to obtain a proper return.
