Turner has been appointed chief engineer for ERF Commercial Vehicles_ After spending 14 years with the Chrysler organization in both USA and Canada, where he worked on heavy truck design, Mr. Turner returned to England in 1962 to take up an appointment as project engineer with Dodge vehicles at Kew. He later became manager of advanced engineering and then chief engineer of Dodge Heavy Commercial vehicle chassis department when the company moved to Luton.

Roe Ltd. for the past 16 years, retires on Monday after spending over 50 years in the bodybuilding business, mostly on the p.s.v. side. He is succeeded by R. S. Boshell. J. A. Mclndoe has been appointed assistant general manager, chief body engineer and a director. Mr. R. S. Boshell has been assistant general manager since 1965 and a director since 1956. and Mr. Mcindoe has been chief draughtsman since 1947.

F. K. Pointon, a BET executive director. has been appointed to the board of West Riding Automobile Co. Ltd., in succession to D. S. Deacon who is leaving in view of his other heavy business commitments. The appointment is announced by the THC in agreement with BET. D. N. H. Stokes-Harrison has been appointed company chief accountant of the Ryland Vehicle Group Ltd.

Lord Collison, Miss M. V. Howey. Mrs. P. M. Jeffcoate. Air Commodore Sir Louis Dickens, D. R. Hunter and T. J. Cowan have been appointed to the Central Transport Consultative Committee for Great Britain until July 31 1971. Lord Collison has been a member of successive Central Transport Consultative Committees since March 1960; the others are new members.

T. F. Rice (East Anglian Carriers Ltd, London) has been re-elected chairman of the Commercial Committee of the BHA, H. A. Russett (Premier Transport. Bristol) has been elected vice-chairman.
