Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WE reproduce on this page interior and exterior views of a Laffly six wheeled motor coach which is operating

between Paris and Deauville. This vehicle recently took part in the E.allye at DeanVille, and gained the highest award in the categou reserved for touring vehicles limited to a capacity of 84 litres per cylinder, winning the Grand Prix d'Elonneur, d'Elegance et de Confort a Deauville.

. Laffly (England) Co., Ltd., 20-26, Lonsdale Road, London, N.W.6, has forwarded to us a few details of the performance of the vehicle in the tests which were ,carried out. The driver of the vehicle was given an average speed, to which he was expected to adhere as closely as possible. The speed imposed on the Laffly was 48 kilometres per hour (30 m.p.h.), and the average speed which the vehicle actually maintained agreed with this figure. The coach carried 23 passengers, its total weight being 8 tons, and the maximum n speed reached was 45 m.p.h. The acceleration of the vehicle, considering its total weight, was deemed remarkable.

Since receiving details of the performance of the vehicle in the above event, we have heard that it has achieved further success at. a meeting held at Le Touquet, where it secured a similar award to that won at Deauville.

The pictures which we reproduce afford a good indication of the general lines of the vehicle and of the sumptuous nature of the interior appointments. The combination of six pneumatic tyres, of armchair seats and excellent springs gives good riding comfort.
