A Description of Some of the Commercial Vehicles which Will Be Shown at Olympia Next Month.

THE COMING Commercial Motor Vehicle Exhibition, which opens at Olympia on Friday, October 14th, arid remains open until Saturday, October 22nd, will be of particular interest in view of the necessity for increasing the efficiency of all types of motor vehicles for road transport.

In the main, the vehicles will be practically standard models, but to the observant a number of more or less important modifications will present themselves, these being introduced as . the result of extensive trials with the vehicles in question. Following our usual procedure, we are, in this and issues, ssues, giving preliminary details of the machines which will be shown by the better-known exhibitors. In a few cases the actual machines to

be shown have not been definitely chosen, and may not be so until close upon the opening day, and there are indications that the exhibits from some factories may not be ready until the last moment.

It is unfortunate that a few well-known manufacturers have decided not to be represented, hut M spite of this the Show should prove or remarkable interest. It is only at Olympia that adequate comparisons can be made between the progress made in the design of goods-carrying and passenger-carrying vehicles by the manufacturers in this and other countries, and many would-be buyers refrain from purchasing vehicles until they have been enabled to view them at this famous rendezvous, where the various points for and against can be balanced.
